The Origin story

meaning: happy child
Lokyee is my Chinese name, which translates to “happy child.” It also exists as a powerful reminder to stay in that inner child-like sense of wonder and curiosity, something that tends to get lost as we grow older. When designing, I embrace this inner child-like perspective to tap into a deeper level of creativity and intuition, allowing me to create designs that are in harmony with the natural flow and essence of life.
And I hope this serves as a little reminder for you too, to approach life and its challenges with wonder, curiosity, and radical optimism—just as a happy child does.

Oh hey, I’m Carol Fan.
I’m a total homebody, the most un-Leo person you’ve ever met, and the founder of Lokyee Studio. Looking back, there wasn’t a definitive day that started it all. But as I sifted through a million meaningful moments, I realized what I cared about most: helping women-led service businesses build identities that they can truly see themselves in.
With a B.A. in multimedia and 5+ years of design experience, I’m here to help you find your groove. If you’re looking for website and brand design that glows as bright as you do, attracts your people, and grows with you—you’ve found your design studio.
